Explore is a relaxed meal event for anyone curious about Jesus. Come enjoy lunch or dinner, ask questions, and learn how to read the Bible for yourself – no pressure, no cost.
Who is Jesus?
We would love to introduce you to the one person who has changed our lives for ever. His name is Jesus and He has promised to give you life to the full. He has transformed the lives of millions of people over the last 2000 years. We are not interested in blind faith. We base our trust in Jesus on solid evidence.

We found EXPLORE really helpful because it taught us a different way of reading the Bible. We thought we were already somewhat familiar with the gospel, but through EXPLORE we were able to learn a lot more about Jesus’ story and some pretty awesome connections to passages in the Old Testament.
What to Expect
Connect
You will get to connect with other people just like you, looking to explore the big questions in the Bible.
Discuss
You get a chance to share your thoughts and ideas on the topic. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s a chance to hear from others in an honest, friendly and open environment. There will be the chance to ask any questions you have.

We run Explore at both of our campuses — Waterloo and Rockdale.
Waterloo: Sundays, 1pm to 2.30pm
Rockdale: Starting early 2026.. to be announced
What will we talk about?
We run 4 different series at Explore, so you could come multiple times and learn about faith from a slightly different angle.

At our Waterloo campus:
Alpha
Alpha is an engaging and thought provoking video series that is designed to help everyone discuss and understand the Christian faith. Each week there is food, discussion and it’s a great way to connect with others and look at some of the biggest questions in life.
This series begins May 3rd and runs after our 11am church service from 1-2.30pm. Jump in at any time.
At our Rockdale campus:
Alpha
Alpha is an engaging and thought provoking video series that is designed to help everyone discuss and understand the Christian faith. Each week there is food, discussion and it’s a great way to connect with others and look at some of the biggest questions in life.
