Each year, we aim to accommodate as many people as possible while keeping costs low. Here are our three accommodation options:

MALE & FEMALE ROOMS
Most guests will stay in shared male or female rooms, each with an ensuite. You can indicate whom you would like to room with on the registration page.

FAMILY ROOMS (for parents and children)
Families with children will be placed in their own rooms.

PRIVATE ROOMS
While we encourage all guests without children to share rooms, we understand that some may prefer a private room. A limited number of private rooms are available at a higher cost and are prioritised for mature couples or those with health concerns. WHY SHARE A ROOM?
We encourage sharing rooms to foster community and provide a fun, social experience. The site also requires minimum numbers for booking, so sharing helps us keep costs down.

Each year, we strive to make Weekend Away a high-quality event at an affordable price. Your ticket covers accommodation, meals, activities, and additional extras. We don’t build any profit into the ticket pricing and charge the minimum possible to cover costs. 

However, early registration helps us plan and coordinate more effectively, so we’re offering a discount for those who sign up early!

Early bird registration & Financial Support application close: Sunday 24 May.

Standard registration closes: Sunday 17 July at 11.59pm (two weeks prior to the event).

TICKET PRICING: 

Adults + Parents:

• Early Bird: $220
• Standard : $240

Under 18s:

• Youth (Yr 7-12): $210
• Children (K-Yr 6): $190
• Preschool (3yrs+): $70
• Two & Under: $25

DAY PASSES

While we encourage everyone to attend the full weekend, we understand that it may not be possible for all. For those who do not require accommodation or can only attend for one day, day passes are available. Please check the registration page for options and pricing.

DONATE A TICKET

Each year, some may need financial assistance to attend Weekend Away. If you’d like to help, you can donate towards a ticket when you register. The donor and the beneficiary will remain anonymous.

Please don’t let financial circumstances prevent you from attending. If you need financial assistance or a payment plan, please fill out this form before Sunday 24 May 2026 and we’ll reach out to discuss options.

Weekend Away is a special time for adults and children alike to grow in community and deepen our understanding of God and His Word. 

There will be sessions where children are included for part of the time. During the main sessions, CityKids programs will run concurrently, where children will learn big Bible truths through stories, songs, and activities. The reason we charge for all children (regardless of age) is to help cover accommodation costs for families in their own private rooms.

VOLUNTEERING @ WEEKEND AWAY CITYKIDS

We encourage parents to consider volunteering in CityKids or Youth. If you haven’t signed up but your child is in a program, the CityKids and Youth teams may ask for your help. Training and checks are required beforehand. Once allocated, we’ll send details about your session. 

We hope that serving during Weekend Away gives you insight into how CityKids runs week to week and helps you build a closer partnership with the church in supporting your child’s spiritual growth.
