What do you need to know?

How do I get there?

Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport, 241 O’Riordan St, Mascot NSW 2020. Mascot Station is about a ten-minute walk away, and there are bus stops on O’Riordan Street close to the hotel.

Coming by bike? There’s no bike rack, and bikes can’t come into the hotel, but there’s a railing on level B2 of the car park, just before the boom gate, that you can chain up to.

Where are we meeting?

In the Mascot Ballroom, up the main staircase from reception. Look for our welcome desk at the top of the stairs, and for our hosts in pink lanyards if you have a question.

The lifts are near reception on the ground floor, so prams, wheelchairs and anyone who’d rather skip the stairs can come straight up to the same foyer.

What about parking?

Free street parking along High Street, Robey Street and Baxter Road, with more spots on the surrounding streets. Check the sign where you park. The sign wins. See the parking map →

If you’d rather park underneath, we’ve secured a discount on the hotel car park: $10 all day, down from $35 per car. The car park entrance is on Robey Street.

To get the $10 rate: before you leave, take your ticket to hotel reception in the lobby, let them know you’re from Grace City Church and ask for it to be validated. Do this on your way out, not on your way in, because the validation only lasts 15 minutes. It covers the whole day in the same car, so if you’re back for the 5pm, go to reception again on your way out and there’s nothing more to pay. See the four steps →

What about City Kids and Youth?

City Kids and Youth run every Sunday at the 10am service, in rooms just off the foyer outside the Mascot Ballroom. There’s no kids program or toys at the 5pm, so if you’re bringing little ones, a few quiet activities in the bag will help them settle in.

Crèche, ages 1–3 — Kurnell
Pre-School, ages 3–5 — Kingsford
Kindy to Year 2 — Botany
Years 3–5 — Rosebery
Youth — Randwick

Check-in opens at 9:50am. Head straight up to your child’s room; they’re all together off the foyer. Youth start in the ballroom with everyone, then head out together to their room partway through. Please pick your kids up straight after the service so our leaders can pack down and join everyone for morning tea.

Is there food?

Grab a coffee from La Boca on your way in

La Boca Restaurant is on the ground floor, just before the staircase, and serves coffee from 6am. Aim to be at the hotel by 9:30am and you’ll have a coffee in hand and a seat in the ballroom before we begin. There’ll be something simple at both services: morning tea after the 10am, and supper after the 5pm. Then stay for lunch or dinner.

This Sunday: lunch and dinner at La Boca, $19 a head. $19 per person and everyone’s invited. Come to church, then after the service gather a few people and head downstairs to La Boca. No booking, just turn up. Lunch at about 12pm after the 10am, dinner at about 7pm after the 5pm. Details up the top of this page.

Every Sunday, $15 a head at Nate’s, across the road. The Branksome Hotel on Robey Street is doing us a deal for lunch and dinner every Sunday. The $15 meals change each week, the rest of the menu is there at the normal price, and you just say “Grace City Church” when you arrive. A bunch of people head over at about 12pm and about 7pm.

How the validation works

Street parking is free. If you park under the hotel, this is the whole process.

How the $10 hotel parking works: 1. Drive in off Robey Street and take a ticket. 2. Before you leave, go to hotel reception, say you are with Grace City Church, pay $10 and they validate your ticket. 3. Exit within 15 minutes of validating. 4. Coming back for the 5pm? The $10 covers the whole day in the same car; get it validated again at reception before you leave the second time.
