What is City Youth?
Grace City is committed to providing an inspiring, interesting and biblically rich Sunday youth ministry. Our vision is to see thousands of teenagers fully committed to following Christ.
At City Youth we aim to encourage teenagers of our church to grow in their understanding of the Bible and their love of Jesus Christ.
Where is City Youth?
We begin together in the 10am service for worship, then our leaders take City Youth out to our own space partway through, and we return before the end.
We’ll share the room details for Stamford as soon as we have them.
City Youth is for kids in school Year 6+
School years 11-12 are encouraged to attend the adult service and join a mid-week community group.

Youth Socials
Once a term the teenagers in City Youth have an opportunity to join our social events.
This is a wonderful time for the teenagers at City Youth to develop deeper friendships and connect as a group.
It is also an excellent avenue to invite friends along, who in time may also be interested in joining City Youth. At the socials we generally enjoy a meal together followed by a fun activity.
Grace City Church follows the Safe Ministry policies and procedures advised by the Anglican Diocese, outlined in this policy document.

What some have said about City Youth...
Jenna
A teenage girl was challenged and encouraged by the exploration of God and Science in a series at City Youth. She said ‘I didn’t think that God and Science could fit together. But now I think that God and Science tell us different things. For example, the bible tells us why the world was made and Science tells us how the world was made.’
Adam
After the City Youth social a mother said ‘The boys had a great time. My son’s friend who visited, said the discussions were very interesting and wants to come back to church’. The youth leader followed up with ‘This teen articulated the gospel in our prayer group with his own analogy of a wound and band aid’.
Erin
A teenage girl in City Youth said ‘In our recent series on the book of the bible called James, I learnt that if you become a Christian it means you change the way you live and act. For example, as a Christian I have to have more self control. I think being a Christian helps me to be a better person.’
