Lead Pastor. Tim grew up in Sydney, is married to Emma, and has two children Brooke and Tyler. He describes himself as an entrepreneur with the heart of an evangelist, and wants to see lots of bible-based churches planted all over Australia. He and Emma started Grace City in 2014. Tim loves preaching, surfing, and good coffee.
Maturity and Mission Director. Matt is married to Shell and has two young sons who keep him busy. He likes spending time off enjoying the outdoors and eating good food - especially a particular type of spicy chicken. He loves telling people about Jesus and seeing them come to know and love Jesus. Before he was a Pastor, Matt was a Primary School teacher.
Magnification Director. Charles is married to Ash and they have two girls, with another one on the way. Charles feels the weight of the realities of heaven and hell and has a deep desire to see people won for the gospel, both in the Green Square area and beyond. He is a graduate of Moore Theological College and loves books, coffee, cycling, swimming and music (and occasionally runs).
Director of Next Gen. Emma is married to Tim and has two children Brooke and Tyler. She has been involved in leading Children’s and Youth ministry for over 15 years. Emma is also an experienced educator and currently works part time at St Andrew’s Cathedral School. Emma enjoys going to the beach and jumping on the trampoline with her children.
EA/ Communications Coordinator. Wennie is married to Kaz and as she searched for bigger and better things, she was given the opportunity to be a part of the Grace City team. She studied Global Studies/ Communications with a deep passion to be a vessel in God's kingdom. Wennie first joined Grace City in January 2020 and have now called it home. She loves to snack, travel and snack. Yes, that's not a typo.
MTS Apprentice. Ministry has always been a part of Corn's life since University, but 2020 was the year where God prompted him to ask: “why not do more?”. Corn is completing his MTS apprenticeship in 2021 and plans to complete his studies at Moore College thereafter. In his spare time, you can find him playing music and longing for his sports-ready resurrection body.
Intern. Aline moved from Brazil in 2019 and has been enjoying living in Sydney. She is currently studying Advanced Science at UNSW and is keen to become a researcher once she's finished her degree. Raised as a Christian, Aline has always found serving very encouraging, which is why she decided to become an intern at church. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with friends.
Intern. Ben is from Malaysia and is currently studying at C3 College with a passion to see a generation of young people rise up take Malaysia by storm with the love of Christ. His favourite soccer team is Liverpool FC and he enjoys spending his free time catching up on movies or catching up with friends over a cup of coffee. Ben is married to Sharon and is looking forward to be reunited with her next year when he finishes his journey in Sydney.
Intern. Rachel was born and raised in Hong Kong and is currently a fourth-year Medical Student. She considers herself extremely blessed that church has always been a part of her life. With this being her research year, Rachel has been gifted greater flexibility in her studies and joyfully looks forward to learning and serving as much as she can. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading, good food, coffee, travelling, and baking.
Student Minister. Marc grew up around Parramatta. He is currently studying at Moore Theological College and has a background in Product Design and Innovation. Marc loves to think creatively about problem-solving. His dream is to plant churches that effectively reach people who don't yet know Jesus. Marc also dreams about Persian food.
Student Minister. Kadin is married to Chloe and has a toddler, Eli. After being convinced of people's need to hear about Jesus and doing a ministry apprenticeship, Kadin shifted from NZ with his family in 2021. He now studies at Moore College to be equipped for gospel ministry hopefully back in New Zealand! Kadin enjoys making things: good coffee, tasty food and anything using power tools.
